This product pays a lump sum benefit in the event of an employee’s death through accidental or natural cause. The benefit is payable to nominated beneficiaries through the employer.

This is also available on a stand-alone policy or linked with other employee benefit covers. This will cover the client incase an employee is injured on the job and the various benefits are as below.

This Rider complements the Group Life Assurance Policy and is an alternative to the Group Disability Insurance Rider. It provides an amount equivalent to 25% of the Group Life sum assured up to a maximum of Kshs. 3 million upon the first-time life occurrence of heart attack, coronary artery disease surgery, cancer, stroke, major organ transplant, kidney failure, paraplegia or paralysis.

An alternative rider to the Group Life policy, this cover provides a three-quarter salary monthly benefit after an employee is totally disabled from engaging in any occupation for over six months. The benefit may be paid until retirement age.

This rider can be taken as an alternative to the Group Critical Illness Insurance Rider under the Group Life Assurance Policy. It provides an income benefit equal to 75% of monthly salary upon an employee becoming totally disabled and unable to engage in any occupation for over six months following accidental or natural cause. The client selects the benefit payment period.

This is a popular rider to the Group Life Assurance Policy and pays an immediate lump sum upon the death of an employee to cater for burial expenses. It is payable within 48 hour of notification.
